Biography
Vesa Shahini is a young filmmaker and sociologist from Prishtina, Kosovo. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Corvinus University of Budapest, with a specialization in Social Policy and Equal Opportunity. She has worked as a coordinator for the 14th edition of Manifesta – the European Nomadic Biennial, in Prishtina, Kosovo. She is the author of two shorts films: ‘Concrete Couriers’, as part of Neo_School (2023), Kino ARMATA’s alternative education programme, and ‘Blossoms Inverted’ as part of Dokufest’s Human Rights and Democratic Values workshop (2022) in co-operation with OSCE. She is also the author of a short research documentary (2023) which addresses elder care in Kosovo.
