Hêlîn, Selin, Firat and Serhat are siblings who grew up in a village in central Switzerland. They carry their family living-room out into public space: first the colourful carpet, then the couch, last of all the hot Çay. A new story takes shape where anger and resilience find their place unfazed alongside othering and fear.

Born 1995 in Lachen, Switzerland. In 2016 she completed the Preliminary Course at the Zurich University of the Arts. She graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor‘s degree in Video with focus on directing from the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art. Since 2022, she‘s part of the organizing committee of the Upcoming Filmmakers Film Festival in Lucerne, including part of the film selection team.
