Juliette Menthonnex was born in 1994 in Switzerland. In 2018, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in cinema at ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne) with her diploma film “Anywhere”. In 2021, she directed a short film “Souviens-toi hier” presented in international festivals. She carries on with her work focused on the practice of creative documentary. In December 2022, she graduated with a master degree in documentary film directing from Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Docnomads (based in Lisbon, Budapest and Brussels). 

Cosima Fre finished her master's degree in directing at ZHdK in 2017 with the short film Zwischenstopp, which won awards at various international festivals. In 2018 she is directing several episodes of the successful SRF series Seitentriebe by Güzin Kar. In her work, she is interested in the tragicomic of our world. The absurd moments of everyday life and being human. Her strength is the fine, elegant humor that makes us smile.

Jela Hasler Born in 1986 in Switzerland. 2010 BA of Photography from ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste) and Marmara University Istanbul. 2013 BA Video from HSLU (Hochschule Luzern - Design & Kunst). Since 2013 works as independent filmmaker. Her short films have screened at festivals such as Locarno, IDFA, Hot Docs, Tampere and Cannes' Critics Week. Both her shorts ON SOLID GROUND as well as LA GRAVIDITÉ have been awarded with the Swiss Film Award. The documentary LES NOUVELLES ÈVES (realised in co-direction in a collective), winning project of the CH-Dokfilmwettbewerb, was released in Swiss cinemas in 2021.

Felipe Casanova (1995) Zürich, Switzerland. He spent most of his childhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2021 he graduated with a Master’s degree in film directing from IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion) in Belgium. Nowadays based in Brussels, Felipe continues to experiment with moving images, working as director and editor. His practices encourage research and experimentation. “Loveboard” (2023) is his first short film.
