Aulona Fetahaj studied Filmmaking at Sint-Lukas Brussels and was selected for Dokufest and Breedbeeld Kortfilmfestival with 'She asked me where I was from'. Her graduation film ‘past imperfect’ (2021) premiered at Film Fest Gent and received the Wildcard by the Flemish Audiovisual Fund. Through her work, she looks for a cinematic language to be able to talk about the notions of home and displacement - exploring how memory plays a role in (re)building identities.
