Belkıs Bayrak (MA in Film & Television at Istanbul Bilgi University) is an alumna of the Torino Film Lab and the Reclaim the Frame Filmonomics. She is an active member of the European Women's Audiovisual Network and Film Fatales. Her short films The Apartment (2018) and Cemile (2021) were shown at several international festivals. Her debut feature Gülizar (2024) premiered at Toronto and San Sebastian, marking a milestone as the first Turkey-Kosovo co- production.
