Blerta Hashani (left) from Ferizaj, Kosovo, Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prishtina in 2019. She is currently completing her master's degree in the Specialization in Painting program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prishtina. Her artistic practice incorporates the medium of painting, drawing and photography to further explore the concepts of mysticism and symbolism. Her work consolidates and reflects the routine, the environment that surrounds her and ordinary sensations. Every impulse received from the outside world comes in a primordial form and is transmitted in her artistic work, in a minimalist way. Aesthetically, Hashani's works present harmony, balance and a deep search to internalize the everyday in conceptual lines. In the process, she uses rudimentary research to mark that which is instinctive and controllable, while further revealing the multi-layered nature of the symbolic and the sublime. She lives and works in Ferizaj, Kosovo. She is represented by LambdaLambdaLambda Gallery.
Lumturie Krasniqi (right) from Pristina, Kosovo, is a visual artist and cultural worker. In 2019, she completed her bachelor's studies in Painting at the Faculty of Arts, University of Pristina, and is currently finishing her master's studies in the same program. Krasniqi primarily engages in painting but also explores photography, installation, video, and digital art. In her work, she delves into aspects often overlooked in contemporary life, aiming to raise existential questions. Her artistic approach, entwined with connections, separations, and the interplay of opposites, unites the spiritual and emotional, reflecting on the relationships between soul and matter, fear and love, humanity and nature, and human connections. She plays with the dualism and paradoxes inherent in these combinations.
